作品中的鐵窗花是將花盆與山形意象相結合，
以山形樣式作為花盆的裝飾，同時也是座在花盆內部景觀的山，
而花盆內、外則能區分為兩個不同環境，
花盆上盛開著一座猶如高山的植物，周圍生長著各式奇特造型的草木，儼然成為另一個獨特生態系，
花盆內的景象如同高山的根，提供高山養分，又像是花盆外觀上的裝飾紋樣。
這既是一株盛開的盆景，亦是一個生長、哺育的循環過程
